In the old time, when the Communist system was in the Czech Republic, there existed mark system for restoration and hotels. The marking was really strict and hard. In restaurants were five class first to forth class. The first was the best.

I.Class – really exclusive and expensive restaurants
II.Class – this were unusual restoration, little bit expensive and clear.
III.Class – in this class were most restaurant, it was well-priced, and usual.
IV.Class – restaurant with IV.Class was more pub and there was no kitchen.

The hotel had the „Stars system“. The best hotel had five stars and 20 years ago there were only two hotels with five stars in Prague. The worst hotels had only one star.
Nowadays these systems cont exist and especially hotels have many stars (often four) and nobody control them. So i think today is important the comments from the latest hotels visitors and good name of the hotels.
